The design is based on ‘derive’ or drifting which means dispossessed. Engraving on Perspex sheets, the ‘ineffable’ portrays the tracing materials from journey and objects around Britomart in Auckland, New Zealand. The concept is about defamiliarising oneself in order to create a sense of being in between phantom and real.
